Outdoor adventure sports such as white-water river rafting, bungee jumping, cliff jumping, paragliding, and jungle camping carry inherent physical risks. Please read this disclaimer carefully before participating in any activity.
1. Nature of Adventure Sports
Participation in adventure activities listed on GlacierTours involves exposure to natural elements, rapid river currents, heights, mountain terrain, and unpredictable weather conditions. While GlacierTours partners exclusively with certified equipment providers and IRF-trained instructors, participants must recognize that inherent risks cannot be completely eliminated.
2. Medical Fitness & Personal Responsibility
- Participants must declare any pre-existing medical conditions (including cardiac issues, spinal injuries, asthma, pregnancy, or recent surgery) prior to booking or briefing.
- GlacierTours and its partner operators reserve the right to deny participation to any individual deemed physically unfit, intoxicated, or uncooperative with safety protocols.
- All safety instructions, rescue briefings, and gear guidelines issued by raft captains and jump masters must be followed strictly at all times.
3. Insurance & Personal Belongings
- Participants are strongly advised to hold valid personal travel and medical insurance covering adventure sports.
- GlacierTours is not responsible for loss, theft, or water damage to personal items (smartphones, cameras, jewelry, wallets) carried during rafting or activity sessions. Dry bags are provided for basic essentials.
4. Limitation of Liability
GlacierTours acts as a booking portal and facilitator for licensed, certified adventure suppliers in Rishikesh and Uttarakhand. By completing a booking, participants agree to hold harmless GlacierTours, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising out of personal injury, illness, or property damage sustained during the trip, except in cases of proven gross negligence by the third-party operator.
