Cancellation & Refund Policy

At GlacierTours (accessible at https://www.glaciertours.in), we strive to provide transparent and fair cancellation terms for all our adventure activities, river rafting expeditions, and riverside camping packages in Rishikesh.

1. Tiered Refund Matrix

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to hello@glaciertours.in or by contacting our booking office at +91 90456 64005. Refunds are calculated based on the notice period provided prior to your scheduled check-in or activity date:

• 7+ Days Before Activity/Check-in: 85% refund of the total booking amount (15% service & processing fee retained).
• 3 to 6 Days Before Activity/Check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• Less than 48 Hours or No-Show: Non-refundable (0% refund).

2. Weather & Force Majeure Clause

Adventure activities such as white-water rafting, bungee jumping, and paragliding are subject to weather and river safety conditions regulated by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) and local authorities:

• If an activity is suspended due to high Ganga water levels, monsoon floods, severe weather, or government directives, guests will be offered alternative activity dates or credit vouchers valid for 12 months.
• If rescheduling is not possible due to official government directives, a 100% full refund will be processed to the original payment source.

3. Refund Processing Window (Razorpay PCI-DSS)

All online payments processed through Razorpay will be refunded directly to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Digital Wallet). Approved refunds are initiated immediately and typically reflect in your account within 5 to 7 business days depending on your bank's processing cycles.

4. Activity-Specific Conditions

• Bungee Jumping & Extreme Sports: Refusal to jump at the platform or medical disqualifications during safety harness fitting after registration are strictly non-refundable.
• River Rafting Transfers: Transportation costs included in combo packages are non-refundable once vehicle dispatch is confirmed.
